This blog is about our journey through marriage(disclaimer: I will always be honest about life on my blog, but I will never discuss seriously personal issues); about living in a new state where we know no one; about figuring out who I am; it will document adventures, memories, and whatever else happens along the way. It'll be simple and probably a mess - but I hear those can be beautiful sometimes.
This is us. We met in 2004 as Juniors in high school and got married in July of 2008 with fireworks as our backdrop... we're kind of romantic like that. We spent the first 2 years of marriage living life in my hometown in Florida, but we recently moved to Georgia after he got his dream job, and it's definitely been a test to be away from all the places and people that we've always known, but we're stronger because of it and having a blast.
And these are the babies that we've accumulated along the way...

Marley - named after Bob Marley; was a really cute kitten, not sure what happened. She's not really a people person, prefers to be where she's not supposed to be, and can't seem to figure out how to poop inside the litter box.
Phoenix - we got him from a shelter. We went there wanting an orange male kitten, and came home with the only orange male kitten in the entire place. We should have named him Motor because his purr is that loud, he loves to cuddle, and he's not scared of anything.
Coach - our $50 boxer/pit Craigslist puppy, best $50 ever spent. He's Ryan's best friend, my cuddle buddy, and our fierce guard dog. He laughs, barks, and growls in his sleep. He snores really loud, and his farts smell like death, but he's worth every gag.
